A goal of a project is a design of the load-bearing elements of a multi-chamber gas-filled façade panels.

We participated in the design and development of a conceptual entirely new façade panel for curtain walls, thereby Trimo can enter into the field construction of commercial and residential living facilities. A composite panel is made up of outer and inner plates, and the interior volume of multichamber gas-filled insulating core, from which arises the name of the panel: Qbiss-AIR. The stiffness of the panel in given by the outer circumference, with the avoidance of thermal bridges. Qbiss-Air is comparing to other façade systems significantly thinner, but he still has an enviable thermal and sound insulation, since the basic version of the panel reach of U = 0.25W/m2K and 60dB.

Development of the Qbiss Air-panel continued with the modifications that allow to create a translucent and transparent panels. Both prototype version exhibit 3 times better thermal insulation than any existing system of transparent facades (window systems principle).

Qbiss-Air passed mechanical, thermal, fire and other tests. In procedure there is currently gaining of the first international certificates, which are the basis for the entry of the product into the market. Qbiss-Air is also patented.

Project has been awarded the Golden Prize for Best Innovation, given by Chamber of Commerce in 2011 and the industry forum award TARAS 2012 for the most successful cooperation between company and scientific research environment.
